BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Reformer's redesigned website launches Thursday morning -- a site that we've retooled to ensure faster load times and easier navigation.

In addition to its cleaner and brighter look, the site is organized to make it easier to find the local news and information you are seeking online at www.Reformer.com. The official launch time is at 9 a.m. Thursday.

We've made the site easier to scan, read and discover related news content. Take, for instance, the navigation bar. It still has the information categories to which you're accustomed. But by mousing over each category in the navigation bar (news, sports, opinion, etc.), you'll find all related news packaged in a way that enhances your visit and allows you to discover more information within each category.

In addition, the home page is designed to be less cluttered. Bringing better organization to the home page should eliminate confusion -- and reduce the time it takes Reformer.com to display completely.

The site also will showcase new editorial features, such as The Bottom Line, a collection of the day's most interesting stories. Our redesigned Media Center also ought to shine a better spotlight on our local photos galleries and videos.

Take a look at Reformer.com thursday. We're sure you'll embrace the improvements. We're always interested in your feedback, so share it with us by contacting the Reformer's executive editor and webmaster, Tom D'Errico, at tderrico@reformer.com.
