BRATTLEBORO -- The law firm of Potter Stewart Jr. Law Offices, P.C. has expanded its practice to include family law.
Robert Young joins the firm as an associate attorney bringing with him more than a decade of experience in litigation involving families and children in Massachusetts. Young and his family have called Windham County their home since 2009.
"I am excited to have the opportunity to join Potter Stewart and to work in the community where my wife and I are raising our own children," said Young.
A graduate of Hampshire College and Golden Gate University School of Law, Young is licensed to practice in Vermont, Massachusetts, and California. From 2003 to 2005, he served as a judicial law clerk with the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. He served on the Franklin County Massachusetts Bar Association Executive Committee from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, before joining the firm, Young worked as a staff attorney for the Massachusetts Children and Family Law Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services.
His practice at Potter Stewart focuses on all aspects of family law including divorce, parentage, parent-child contact, child support, adoption, guardianship, and modifications. Young is also available to handle family law matters in Massachusetts.
