- Brianna Fitts, 21, of Brattleboro was cited for simple assault on Sunday, June 24.
Police officers responded to the railroad tracks at Arch Street at approximately 8:46 p.m. on a report that a large group of individuals were fighting. Police found several people still arguing when they arrived and an investigation led to Fitts' arrest.
She was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where she was processed and released. She was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court on Tuesday, July 31, to answer to the charge.
- Two Dover residents were cited for disorderly conduct on Friday, June 29.
Brattleboro Police responded to Preston Parking Lot at approximately 10:55 a.m. on a report of a possible fight. Officers discovered that Nicholas Dow, 22, and Justin Brown, 25, had been involved in a physical altercation.
Both were cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
- Desiree L. Wells-Cooper, 28, of Brattleboro, was cited for retail theft on Saturday, June 30.
The loss prevention team at the Hannaford store on Putney Road apprehended Wells-Cooper for shoplifting at approximately 7:38 p.m. and called the Brattleboro Police Department.
Wells-Cooper was also given a no-trespass order for Hannaford.
- Jennifer K. McCarthy, 47, of Hinsdale, N.H., was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol at approximately 11 p.m. on Putney Road on Saturday, June 30.

Police officers on foot patrol found Stephen Arsenault, 21, and John Misch, 35, fighting at the intersection of Elliot and Main streets at approximately 8:40 p.m.
