Community nursing program in Putney
PUTNEY -- Putney Cares and Putney Family Services are teaming up to sponsor a pilot community nursing program in Putney.
Modeled after the Guilford and Westminster Cares nurse programs, home nursing care is provided free of charge to residents not eligible for services from other home-based organizations. The nurse can address concerns such as home safety, medication management, blood pressure checks, foot care, minor wound care, and others.
Nursing care in Putney will be provided by Registered Nurse Sarah Stracco, who also currently works in the Special Care Unit at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
