Summer yard and bake sale set for today at First Baptist Church

BRATTLEBORO -- The summer yard and bake sale to benefit the Homeless Shelter and other local causes sponsored by the First Baptist Church will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 190 Main St.

Worship begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16. Following the children’s story, the children will recess to the Sunday school rooms. There are classes for all ages with experienced and dedicated teachers.

Pastor Suzanne Andrews and others are members of a new group of musicians called "The Singing Ladies." Sunday’s offering is "Living for Jesus" accompanied by Luella Frechette on the historic Estey organ. A time of refreshment and fellowship will follow. All are welcome.
