BRATTLEBORO -- With local officials and residents unsure of what affect Hurricane Sandy would have on the area, one question on most local kids' minds is: Will Halloween trick-or-treating still be taking place? Here's what we found out:

There is no planned postponement; trick-or-treating will continue as scheduled.

Chester

Chester officials have decided that trick-or-treating will be held, as originally scheduled, Halloween night.

Chesterfield, N.H.

Chesterfield, N.H., officials have decided that trick-or-treating will be held, as originally scheduled, Halloween night.

Hinsdale, N.H.

Officials in Hinsdale have confirmed Halloween trick-or-treating will take place as normal tomorrow night. However, it will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. ; there is a strict 8 p.m. curfew.

Keene, N.H.

While it had originally been re-scheduled for Saturday, officials have shifted trick-or-treating back to Halloween night as scheduled.

Rockingham

There is no planned postponement; trick-or-treating will continue as scheduled.
