-- Ryan L. Chase, 35, of Brattleboro, was arrested by Brattleboro Police for driving with a criminally suspended license on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
He was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- On Oct. 29, Brattleboro Police arrested Christopher Cashin, 40, of Putney, and charged him with disorderly conduct. Cashin was cited to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Oct. 30, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 91 in the vicinity of milemarker 16.
Investigation revealed that Serena Phelps, 38, of Bellows Falls, had been traveling south on Interstate 91, when her vehicle likely hydroplaned, causing her to lose control. Phelps’ vehicle left the west side of the roadway, struck a dirt embankment at the base of some ledge, and came to rest facing in a north easterly direction off the west side of the roadway.
Phelps was not injured as a result of the crash. Her vehicle was removed by Rod’s Towing. Phelps was issued a written warning for traveling at an excessive speed for existing road conditions.
-- During the early hours on Oct. 28, troopers and deputies from the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department responded to the CCC Camps on Hinkley Brook Road for a report of a large underage drinking party.
Just prior to arriving on scene, troopers observed a vehicle with numerous juveniles coming up from the area of the party.
A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and the operator, Brandon Choquette, 18, of Bellows Falls, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested for a DUI and processed at the Rockingham State Police Barracks.
-- On Oct. 28, Vermont State Police received a report of an underage drinking party in the Mollie Beattie State Forest at the CCC Camps.
Troopers from the Rockingham State Police Barracks and deputies from the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area.
Upon arrival, they located the party at the CCC Camps. Twenty people under the age of 21 were found to have consumed alcohol and were issued paperwork for underage drinking.
-- A local man was cited for driving with a criminally suspended license on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Vermont State Police pulled over a 1997 Dodge truck for motor vehicle infraction near Exit 4 on Interstate 91. The driver was identified as Ryan P. Smith, 21.
He was cited to in court on Tuesday, Dec. 18, to answer to the charge.
