ONEIDA, N.Y. >> State police in central New York and the U.S. Postal Service are expected to release details about the recent arrests of nearly two dozen people accused of trafficking drugs through the mails.
The New York State Police and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service are holding a news conference at 1 p.m. Monday at Troop D headquarters in Oneida.
Authorities say their investigation led to the arrest of 22 people and the seizure of drugs, weapons and cash. Police say the operation targeted drug trafficking through the U.S. mail in central New York.
Members of the U.S. Attorney's Office and federal, state and local law enforcement officials will also be the afternoon news conference.
