BRATTLEBORO >> Warm Hearts, Warm Hands, supplies older, but serviceable, coats, jackets, scarves and mittens — especially for children and youth — to vulnerable families in the community.

While the weather has been fantastic this fall, we all know that colder weather is coming and that there are many in our local community that will have a hard time this winter. Warm Hearts, Warm Hands' clothing box is located at the Brattleboro Masonic Lodge on Main Street. The Masons there have been instrumental in their generosity in helping these many years.

Warm Hearts, Warm Hands is planning to immediately start the drive and continue through the month of January to Valentine's Day in February.

Also this year, Warm Hearts, Warm Hands hopes to provide turkeys to families in the community and is asking folks to contribute $5 or $10 for purchases.

Started in the Fall of 2004, Warm Hearts, Warm Hands continues to work closely with the Brattleboro Area Drop In Center.
