On Monday, April 4, Sadelle Wiltshire, fiber/mixed media artist, and Ann Coakley, a clinical social worker, present Zentangle "Art as Meditation." Zentangle is an intuitive art form anyone can do. It's an interactive mindfulness tool that uses structured patterns, which make the method fun and easy to learn. Zentangle is often used to improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance creativity. Anyone can create beautifully abstract and magical drawings with just paper, pens, and pencils.
On Tuesday, Margaret Miller, M.Ed., of Jamaica Healing Arts and Wellness Center (Jhawc), a Reiki Master, offers free mini session for your rejuvenation and relaxation. The body's inherent wisdom knows how to heal itself (mind and spirit) and a Reiki session supports that natural ability.
On Wednesday, Robin White, a Certified Life Coach, offers an introduction to living a balanced and compassionate life. We live in a world that is spinning fast and many of us need to slow down and take time for ourselves.
On Thursday, discover some basic principles that will help you get comfortable with your computer. Bring your questions, and if possible, your digital device. Presented by Annamarie Pluhar of Patient, Sympathetic Coaching (for your digital device).
On Friday, join Stasia Savasuk in a discussion about the conversations we have with our bodies: rename, reframe, unshame. Stasia is the everyday gal's personal stylist and founder of Stasia's Style School, a five-week online class that teaches you how to identify your personal and unique style.
Performers as well as speakers of all kinds are invited to be a part of this series. If interested, please stop at the Stroll office at the River Garden, or call 802-246-0982. During April, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "Young Children's Art Exhibit" — presented by the Windham Child Care Association. Early childhood educators will be displaying their student's artistic creations.
