BRATTLEBORO >> All Brown Bag Lunch Presentations take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., and are free and open to the public.

On Monday, April 11, discover chair yoga, a gentle form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. No special clothing attire or yoga mat is needed. Chair yoga participants typically use armless chairs, which allow them to turn their bodies and freely move their arms to achieve a variety of poses.

On Tuesday, local singer/songwriter from Walpole, N.H., Daniel Hartigan plays folk blues music. His influence comes from Fela Kuti, Junior Kimbrough, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Xavier Rudd, Adele, Janis Joplin, The Doors, and many others. Daniel is also a Permaculture Designer who strives to make earth a better place for generations to come.

On Wednesday, Megan MacArthur Littlehales, of Lady Moon Healing Hands, offers a presentation and discussion about how Massage and Reiki can help your dog (or other furry friend) to relax when anxious or stressed, recover from an illness or injury, reduce pain, boost the immune system, and more. Please leave your dog at home.

On Thursday, Jim Esden, a Forester for the Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, will discuss the common causes of wildfires and preventative measures, warnings, permits, and techniques to safe guard your home.

On Friday, Bob Murray introduces dowsing implements and their uses. In dowsing for health, he will explain how it is used for locating problems areas and the body and some of the history. Watch firsthand as he does dowsing demonstrations.

During April, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "Young Children's Art Exhibit" — presented by the Windham Child Care Association. Children and families will enjoy experiencing the work of our community's youngest artists at the 12th annual Young Children's Art Exhibit. Early childhood educators will be displaying their student's artistic creations.
