Brattleboro >> All Brown Bag Lunch Presentations take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., and are free and open to the public.
On Monday, May 30, there is no Brown Bag Lunch for Memorial Day.
On Tuesday, no Brown Bag Lunch is scheduled. Check the stroll calendar for updates www.strollingoftheheifers.com/calendar.
On Wednesday, learn to pay gentle attention to the bodily-felt sense of a situation. Because your body knows you, the felt sense carries meaning in your life. What was stuck, confused, or unclean "comes into focus" — creating new possibilities for understanding, communication, and action. Beatrice Blake specializes in teaching "Focusing and Thinking at the Edge."
On Thursday, change your thoughts, change your life, with hypnosis. Hypnosis is a good answer to many underlying difficulties that life may bring. Discover how hypnosis can bring positive suggestions to the subconscious mind, opening it to optimistic attitudes and thoughts. Brattleboro's nationally Certified Consulting Hypnotist, Susan Rosano, MA, will explain hypnosis and the positive changes it can bring you.
On Friday, June 3, there is no Brown Bag Lunch due to Stroll Weekend.
Performers as well as speakers of all kinds are invited to be a part of this series. If interested, please stop at the Stroll office at the River Garden, or call 802-246-0982. During June, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "The New England Collection" by Maureen Mansfield consisting of 30 pieces of artwork with a focus on the environment, peacefulness, and sustainability in New England. New England has been Maureen's home since birth. She has traveled around the U.S. painting for private collections; however, New England is where her heart is. She states "to capture the beauty of my roots and share my visions with many is truly a dream come true."
