On Monday, June 13, Mi Ae Lipe discusses her beautifully written and illustrated cookbook geared towards people who are thinking about getting a CSA box or who shop at farmers' markets. The 700-page book follows the seasons with comprehensive information on more than 90 different crops and over 360 delicious recipes — many of which are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.

On Tuesday, experience an interactive presentation of hands-on CPR so that everyone can help save a life. CPR can more than double a person's chance of survival if they suddenly collapse and do not respond, and anyone can do it. Instruction will be done by local paramedics and EMTs from Rescue Inc. who live and work in the Brattleboro area and surrounding communities.

On Wednesday, Kathleen Kennedy performs her songs, touching on both love and grief. Twelve years ago she began performing music and attending massage therapy school. Kathleen continues to create her own expression in both fields. Through her wisdom, using her voice and hands, she creates a presence for healing — herself as well as others.

On Thursday, come meet some Windham County Guardian ad Litems , who are volunteers who speak for the best interests of a child in court proceedings. Windham County has an amazing group of GALs, but more are needed. Find out how and why they do this important work and receive information about upcoming GAL Training in Windham County.

On Friday, experience an Angel Card Reading with Linda Manning. Linda, a Certified Angel Card Reader, receives messages through a client's spirit guides. The client should leave the session with positive information and sometimes a sense of reassurance of what one already knows.

During June, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "The New England Collection" by Maureen Mansfield consisting of 30 pieces of artwork with a focus on the environment, peacefulness, and sustainability in New England. New England has been Maureen's home since birth. She has traveled around the U.S. painting for private collections; however, New England is where her heart is. She states "to capture the beauty of my roots and share my visions with many is truly a dream come true."
