On Monday, June 27, Kelly Therieau will lead yoga a gentle form of yoga that is practiced on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. No special clothing attire or yoga mat is needed. If you have limited mobility, the challenge of attending a yoga class can begin before you begin your first pose. Chair yoga participants typically use armless chairs, which allow participants to turn their bodies and freely use their arms to achieve a variety of poses.
On Tuesday, Corretta Bliss will perform music. Coretta is a singer-songwriter from Brattleboro who plays the guitar, gitjo (a six-string banjo), and mandolin. She has been a member of the local bluegrass band, Blackjack Crossing, since 2009.
On Wednesday, Old-Time Folk Songs with Singer/Guitarist Tina Olsen will perform. Tina fell in love with the folk music of the '60s and '70s (Carter Family and Leonard Cohen songs) when she was 12 and taught herself guitar. She especially likes sing-alongs but is happy to sing folk favorites and takes requests.
On Thursday, Robin White will talk about Refilling Your Well: Taking Time Out for Time In. We live in a world that is spinning fast, and many of us need to slow down and learn how to take time for ourselves. Robin White, a certified Life Coach, offers an introduction to living a balanced and compassionate life.
On Friday, join organizer Abby Mnookin to learn about Mother Up!, a campaign of 350Vermont that unites parents around climate action. There's a saying that goes, "many hands make light work." So, we start small and do the work to build meaningful relationships with each other that can lend support, build community, and make something as foreboding and complicated as climate change feel more approachable, and even more hopeful.

During July, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "Into Nature/ Contemporary Landscapes " by Janet Picard. Janet's paintings are colorful mural size oils on canvas depicting non-traditional landscapes and concentrated whimsical studies of flowers. Her style is expressionistic yet representational selecting segments of nature capturing a moment in time which creates an atmosphere and a mood. She is a member of Brattleboro-West-Artists. Her studio is in West Brattleboro and open to the public by appointment.
