On Monday, July 11, Join Michael Herz for finger-picking acoustic guitar covering folk, blues, and ragtime songs from Blind Blake and Rev. Gary Davis to Merle Travis to Tom Waits and Steve Earl.
On Tuesday, join Cal LaFountain, Electronic Services Support Specialist at Brooks Memorial Library, for a session about online privacy. The discussion will examine the current state of data collection on the web, safe browsing practices, and privacy tools.
On Wednesday, join Cheryl Wolfing to discuss how to use garlic scrapes in cooking and how to harvest and use garlic. Cheryl is the author of "The Meditative Gardener: Cultivating Mindfulness of Body, Feelings, and Mind."
On Thursday and Friday, no brown bag lunches are scheduled.

During July, The Gallery at the River Garden will exhibit "Into Nature/ Contemporary Landscapes " by Janet Picard. Janet's paintings are colorful mural size oils on canvas depicting non-traditional landscapes and concentrated whimsical studies of flowers. Her style is expressionistic yet representational selecting segments of nature capturing a moment in time which creates an atmosphere and a mood. She is a member of Brattleboro-West- Artists. Her studio is in West Brattleboro and open to the public by appointment.
