QUICK AND HEALTHY EATING >> Learn to prepare healthy and quick meals for one or two people in this series of four classes. The meals will take no more than 30 minutes to prepare and will be diabetes/prediabetes friendly. This is a collaboration between the Brattleboro Food Co-op and Nancy Schaefer, Health Coach, and Carrie Quimby, RD from BMH/HCRS Community Health Team. "FORKS OVER KNIVES" AND POTLUCK >> The feature film "Forks Over Knives" looks at the effects of replacing animal-based and processed foods with whole plant-based foods. Before the screening, attendees will share a whole food plant-based potluck dinner. "MAKE IT AND TAKE IT" >> Bring some organic tomatoes to this class to prepare several tomato recipes and learn how to preserve them.
