WESTMINSTER -- Emily Dufault has been named the May Elk’s Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Emily, a sophomore, is the daughter of Jennifer Dufault of Bellows Falls and Tom Dufault of Westminster.
Emily is an outstanding student with a solid academic record. She works diligently and shows strong perseverance when working, especially on writing assignments. She consistently uses strategies, information, and content learned from one unit and applies it to other units. As a conscientious, responsible student, she is eager to improve her skills. Always willing to revise and improve her work, her assignments show attention to detail, logical thought and good insight.
Emily is always positive and friendly; she is attentive and focused in class. Emily shows strong self control and respect for all students in class as she listens to people with an open mind, and encourages her classmates to do their best.
Emily is friendly to all, goes out of her way to help others, and is well liked by her peers and the faculty at BFUHS.
Not only dedicated to her academics, Emily is involved in sports where she serves as a good role model, shows good sportsmanship and works hard on the field. As a sophomore at BFUHS, Emily has shown maturity and growth in her academics and activities and BFUHS is proud to have her represent us with this award.
