Marlboro College

MARLBORO -- Anna Claire Woodward of Brattleboro will graduate from Marlboro College in Marlboro with a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology/Education & Child Development on Sunday, May 19.

Her studies encompassed an exploration of early childhood education by examining the ideals of Waldorf pedagogy and the significance of play in child development.

Bob Jones University

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Ryan Knock of Guilford, Vt., graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville earlier this month.

Knock graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Health, Fitness & Recreation.

Earlham College

RICHMOND, Ind. -- Sara Lepkoff, an Earlham College junior and daughter of Emily Bernheim and Jesse Lepkoff of Brattleboro, Vt., studied in New Zealand during the spring semester as part of an Earlham off-campus study program.

ANNVILLE, Pa. -- Caleb E. Wiley of South Londonderry, Vt., graduated from Lebanon Valley College in Annville on May 11. Wiley earned a bachelor of science degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and graduated cum laude. He is a graduate of Burr and Burton Academy.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Rebeccah Bizon of Brookline, Vt., is a May graduate of Lycoming College. Bizon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications.

Hamilton College

CLINTON, N.Y. -- Martin M. Cain, son of Nancy and Thomas Cain of Marlboro, Vt., was named the recipient of The Doris M. and Ralph E. Hansmann Poetry Prize, The George A. Watrous Literary Prize and The William Rosenfeld Chapbook Prize in Creative Writing at Hamilton College’s annual Class and Charter Day, held on May 13. Cain, a senior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, is a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School.

Babson College

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Paul Kim of Brattleboro, Vt., was named to the dean’s list at Babson College for the spring 2013 semester. Kim will be working as an equity derivatives analyst this summer on Wall Street. He is the son of Yisoon and Tae Mo Kim, owners of Shin la Restaurant & Sushi Bar in downtown Brattleboro.

St. Michael’s College

COLCHESTER-- Dane Phonsai Sengaloun-Homsab, son of Casey and Gregory Frost of Brattleboro, and Kevin Putnam of Vernon, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in History from Saint Michael’s College on May 12.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Stacy Lynn Stockwell of Brattleboro, Vt., graduated from Bryant Univeristy on May 18 with a bachelor of science degree in International Business, Marketing.

Alfred University

ALFRED, N.Y. -- Ryan C. Thomas of Brattleboro, Vt., received a bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude in English from the College Liberal Arts and Sciences at Alfred University on May 18.

Thomas is the son of Theresa Poulin and Geoffrey Thomas, both of Brattleboro. He is a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School.
