promoting the value and support of the arts. Work in this area includes a report on the current economic impact of the arts in the county, producing regional marketing material and presenting Student Art Month.

Connection: bring artists and arts organizations together for mutual education, support and collaboration. Ten public events this year brought more than 200 different artists and arts leaders together.

Nurturing: supporting developing artists and new ideas by providing business training, partnering with the Town of Brattleboro on a $100,000 NEA funded "Our Town" project, providing non-profit umbrella for eight arts organizations and projects and producing Brattleboro’s Gallery Walk.
