Kids wish lists:

Baby dolls and clothes; wooden play kitchen; kids shop table with tools and accessories; food and supplies for play kitchen; costumes and accessories for dress-up; hot wheels cars and trucks; road rug; doll house accessories.

We also need supplies for the facility itself such as:

Paper towels and toilet paper; a battery and charger for a DeWALT cordless drill; 12 foot folding step ladder; gift certificates to local grocery stores or hardware stores

Craft supplies needed at
KidsPLAYce:

Kids scissors; glue sticks; construction paper; a mounted pencil sharpener; water color sets; kids paintbrushes; play dough

For KidsPLAYce play-space operation we need volunteers:

To assist with light cleaning and disinfecting toys; for covering the front desk occasionally; with special events; organizing Circus Smirkus.

We are also looking for people who are interested in becoming board members so that we can continue to strengthen this organization and provide a solid foundation so that we can be here for years to come.

CREATIVE ARTS OPEN HEARTS: KidsPLAYce will offer an eight-week literacy-based class that helps children learn reading readiness skills in a fun, whole body experience. The sessions will begin on Feb. 5 and will continue each Tuesday, except for Feb. 19, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at KidsPLAYce.

Open Hearts will be led by Su Eaton of Peaceable Village. The program is for infants through age 5 with their caregivers. Participants are asked to sign up 24 hours in advance to allow for preparation of supplies.

This is a class for both adult and child to interact as playmates. Eaton, as a creative integrated arts educator, will be integrating music, movement, stories, themes, art, games, and imagination. There will be familiar songs as well as new ones.

Each week will have a different theme to the class, such as colors, numbers, letters, shapes, and more.
