CREATIVE ARTS OPEN HEARTS: KidsPLAYce will offer an eight-week literacy-based class that helps children learn reading readiness skills in a fun, whole body experience. The sessions will begin on Feb. 5 and will continue each Tuesday, except for Feb. 19, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at KidsPLAYce.
Creative Arts Open Hearts will be led by Su Eaton of Peaceable Village. The program is for infants through age 5 with their caregivers.
This is a class for both adult and child to interact as playmates. Eaton, as a creative integrated arts educator, will be integrating music, movement, stories, themes, art, games, and imagination. There will be familiar songs as well as new ones.
Each week will have a different theme to the class, such as colors, numbers, letters, shapes, and more.
The cost will be $15 for a child with an adult and $5 for each additional child. To register or for information: call 802-254-5212. KidsPLAYce is located at 20 Elliot St. in Brattleboro.
