Just when we thought Casey Kasem could rest in peace ...

The legendary radio personality died June 15 in Washington state and still hasn't been buried, a spokesman for Kasem's daughter told the Associated Press.

Danny Deraney, publicist for Kerri Kasem, says Kasem's children from his first marriage hope he will be buried at Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, California, as he reportedly wished. But his body is apparently still in a Tacoma funeral home.

Deraney says Kasem's second wife, Jean Kasem, has the rights to his body and hasn't arranged for him to be buried.

St. Anthony Hospital spokesman Scott Thompson said Jean Kasem collected her husband's remains after he died, but Thompson didn't know what arrangements she made.

A call to from the Associated Press to Jean Kasem's attorney was not immediately returned Tuesday.

Kasem died after a long illness, during which his wife and children from his first marriage fought over seeing him. Jean Kasem took him to Washington without notifying his kids, who eventually went to court to get access to their father.
