War Machine pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Las Vegas to 32 charges connected to the savage beating of his ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, including two counts of attempted murder.
Some of the charges also apply to the ex-MMA fighter's alleged attack on a male friend of Mack's, whom War Machine encountered when he showed up at her Las Vegas home unexpectedly last month, according to TMZ.
The charges include multiple counts of battery, strangulation, kidnapping, coercion, burglary and sexual assault, in addition to attempted murder.
Mack told police her ex showed up on Aug. 8, assaulted her friend Corey Thomas and then beat her, breaking multiple bones and causing her liver to rupture.
Police arrested War Machine a week later, at a hotel outside Los Angeles. He remains in custody without bail.
War Machine's attorney told TMZ it's a case of "overzealous prosecution."
Of course it is.
