WILMINGTON -- After coming off a tough 5-2 loss to Black River on Tuesday, the Wildcat girls soccer team was back in full form Thursday afternoon to beat Fair Haven 2-0.
In Tuesday's loss, Twin Valley experienced a huge defensive collapse, though there were some outstanding saves by keeper Jessica Reilly. Savannah Nesbitt and Sammy Cunningham scored the Wildcats' two goals that game.
In Thursday's game, and after much improvement, Nesbitt scored one of the winners' goals, while teammate Henriette Aas buried the team's last goal.
Twin Valley's next game takes place Thursday in Arlington at 7 p.m.
