KEENE, N.H. -- Nolan Viens and Jake Lober each won their weight class, leading the Bellows Falls-Hartford wrestling team to a third place finish in the 24-team Keene Minickiello Holiday Tournament on Saturday.

A pair of New Hampshire teams -- Londonderry and Concord -- finished first and second respectively in the event that also drew teams from Massachusetts and Vermont.

"Placing third at a tournament of this caliber is quite an accomplishment. This is our fourth tournament in a row where we have placed in the top three positions. Having two tournament championships, one second, and now one third is really amazing," said Bellows Falls-Hartford coach Claude Weyant. "I have to step back and take a second look at the two tournament trophies and two tournament plaques that I currently have set on a dining room table. Something like this has only been a distant dream for 18 years."

Viens remained undefeated on the season, winning a 9-0 decision in the 145-pound finals. It was his fourth crown in four tournaments.

Lober, a freshman, earned a 10-2 decision in the final round of the 220-pound division. It was his second tourney title this season.

Austin Viens (113 pounds) and Patrick Libuda (152) each placed second for Bellows Falls-Hartford. Steve Cerrone (138) and Kyle Record (182) earned bronze.

Bellows Falls-Hartford will host Hampton Charter, Mass. and Mill River today at BFUHS at 6 p.m.
