BRATTLEBORO -- In men’s league basketball action held Friday at Gibson-Aiken Center, Browns Dandelion Sage remained undefeated after defeating Perra Law in a high-scoring 124-102 final. Tyson Dowdy led Browns with 34 points, while Devon Manning with 29 points (including seven 3-pointers), and Matt Johnson with 16 points helped carry the winners. Matt Rink and Jim Derosia combined for 62 points for Perra.

In the day’s second game, Hotel Pharmacy clipped Pancake Design, Inc., 83-80. Ryan Bole led the pharmacy folk with 31 points and teammates Jeff Dixon and Jim Gray each scored 19 points. Pancake was led by Kris Kachelmeyer (27 pts) and Adam Hargraves (24 points) respectively.

On Sunday, DMI cleaned out W&B Maintenance, 86-70. Ryan Powers racked up 21 points, and Marshall Gilbert and Adam Newton had 15 points apiece for the winners. Keith Lyman shot from downtown scoring 23 points total in his team’s loss.

Green Mtn. Creamery/Commonwealth Dairy whipped Deerhill Inn/Fat City Motor Worx, 74-65, with Brandon Clark (17 points) and Roger Nordheim (14 points) carrying the victors. Josh Bartholomew had 20 points for Deerhill/Fat City.

The B-Town Blazers downed Farnum Cellulose, 84-43, in game 3. Tim Fellows scored 20 points, mostly shooting from the outside, and Danny Santos had 18 points in the victory. The Farnum offense relied heavily on Brian Fitzgerald, who scored 24 points.

VFW/Jouve got the win over G.S. Precision, 68-62. Ben Blanchard went off for 29 points, while co-pilot Jeremy Felton scored 17. Chris Worden had 18 points for G.S.P.

The Chroma women are still in first place after inching out a 42-41 win over Lawton’s Flooring on Monday. Ann Stanley scored 12 points and Mary Symonds had 11 points for the league leaders. Samantha Bernard, with 15 points, was Lawton’s main offensive threat.

New England House hammered Houghton Sanitary Service, 54-39, as Ashley Gomario led her team with 22 points. Anna Lashway scored 19 points for Houghton.

In the men’s league, Pancake Design, Inc. rests atop the Division 1 standings at 3-1, Browns Dandelion Sage is 6-0 in the Division 2 charts, the B-Town Blazers (6-0) maintain the top spot in D3-West, and Green Mtn.
