BELLOWS FALLS -- Sammy Cunningham-Darrah had a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) to help the Twin Valley girls basketball team to a 52-32 victory over Bellows Falls on Thursday night.

"We played well defensively from start to finish. Our interior passing was sharp and we hit seven trifectas," commented Wildcats coach Buddy Hayford.

Colton Butler added 14 points and seven boards, Hannah Swanson ripped down 10 rebounds, and Savannah Nesbitt added nine assists and six steals.

Chelsea Wilder scored 14 points, including four makes from beyond the arc, to pace the Terriers. Stephanie Parsons chipped in with 10 points.

Middle School Basketball

TOWNSHEND -- The Leland & Gray Grades 7-8 girls improved to 7-1 with a 42-10 rout of Green Mountain on Friday. Julianne Liebow (9 points), Anna Buffum (8), Marist Linder (6) and Mariah Hazard (6) had the hot hands for the winners. The Rebels will play at Keene, N.H., on Feb. 6 at 4 p.m.
