ARLINGTON -- Hannah Swanson had a double-double (22 points, 12 rebounds) to help the Twin Valley girls basketball team pull away from Arlington and prevail, 51-35, on Monday night.
"It was just impressive. It was our fifth game in eight days, and the girls showed a lot of passion and energy," said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford.
Colton Butler and Sammy Cunningham-Darrah (10 rebounds) each netted nine points for the winners. Christina Moore yanked down nine boards and Savannah Nesbitt chipped in with seven dimes.
The 11-4 Wildcats will host Black River on Thursday.
Pittsfield 67, Hinsdale 37
PITTSFIELD, N.H. -- The Pacers were within 10 points at the half, but the hosts went on a 20-4 surge in the third quarter.
Kyle Rideout had a dozen points to lead Hinsdale. Matt Boggio and Matt Crothers followed with six and five points respectively.
The Pacers will host Wilton today.

L&G 39, Otter Valley 35
TOWNSHEND -- Another fast-paced game for the Rebels, who took the lead after the first quarter, 8-2, but was down 11-19 at the half. "We outscored Otter Valley in the third and fourth quarter to come through with the win," said L&G coach Phoebe Connolly.
The Rebels played quick defense and ran the floor well, and were led by Molly O’Brien with 13 points, Caroline Tietz with nine, and Skyler Nupp with eight.
