EASTER BREAKFAST: The Fraternal Order of Eagles will sponsor an Easter Breakfast on Sunday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to noon at its club on Chickering Drive in Brattleboro. The menu will include eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, sausage and gravy biscuits, fruit bowl, Danishes, juice and coffee. SENIOR LUNCH: Evening Star Grange and Senior Solutions will hold its senior luncheon on Wednesday, April 23, beginning at noon. Chef Larry Lynch Jr. will prepare a lunch of shepherd's pie, maple glazed carrots, salad, and a variety of pie for dessert.

Suggested donations are $3 for people 60 and over, and $4 those under 60. Takeouts will be available by calling the Grange at 802-254-1138 on Wednesday morning.

Books from the Lydia Taft Pratt Library will be available for borrowing until the next meal.

The Grange is located at 1008 East-West Road in Dummerston Center. Everyone is welcome.

SUGAR-ON-SNOW SUPPER: The Guilford Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Sugar-on-Snow Supper on Saturday, April 19 at the Guilford Fire Station. Seatings will be at 5 and 6:30 p.m. The price of the meal will be $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $2 for preschools. On the menu will be baked ham, potato salad, deviled eggs, pickles, fresh maple syrup on snow, and homemade doughnuts. For reservations, call 802-254-6841.

SPAGHETTI DINNER: A spaghetti dinner will be held on Saturday, April 26, starting at 5 p.m. at the North Hinsdale Community Church. The meal will include spaghetti, homemade sauce, salad and dessert. The cost will be adults $7, children $5, and children 4 and under free.

FARMERS MARKET: The Walpole Farmers Market will celebrate spring on Saturday, April 19, with an "Eggstravaganza" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Town Hall.

Hooper Institute educators Eloise Clark and Rebecca Whippie will lead a workshop on dying Easter eggs using onion skins and other natural products. 4-H members plan to bring a guest bunny and a small flock of pullets for everyone to enjoy. Easter egg games are planned.

The market is accepting applications from those interested in becoming vendors during the summer season. Potential applicants can go to the Market Admin page at walpolefarmersmarket.com/market-admin-3.

DINNER AND A MOVIE: Next Stage Arts Project and The Gleanery are partnering to present a special combination Dinner and A Movie on the fourth Sunday of the month. Each week, at 5:30 p.m., the chefs at the Gleanery will serve a menu inspired by some of their favorite films about food. Ticket holders will be treated to a set three-part meal playfully based around the content of the film. Then diners will head over to Next Stage at 7 p.m. and see those films on the big screen. People are also welcome to attend the film only. Prices for the dinner and movie combination are $23; for reservations call 802-387-3052. Limited seating available.

There is a $5 suggested donation for film only, available at the door.
