SOUTH BURLINGTON (AP) - The Vermont Air National Guard is going to be hosting aircraft from the U.S. Navy and the Canadian Forces for training exercises over New York and New Hampshire.

As a result there will be additional military flying operations into and out of the Burlington International Airport Tuesday through Friday.

On Monday, two Navy F-18 aircraft from the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia and two Canadian F-18s from Bagotville, Quebec, are due to arrive at the South Burlington base.

The F-18 pilots will be flying missions with the F-16 pilots of the Vermont Air National Guard.

The guard says there will be three multi-aircraft takeoffs and landings from Tuesday through Friday.

The visiting aircraft are scheduled to leave Vermont on Friday to return to their home bases.
