BRATTLEBORO -- The following closings and cancellations have been reported in anticipation of Friday's snow storm.

-- Schools in Windham Southeast, Northeast and Central supervisory unions, as well as Twin Valley, Whitingham and Deerfield Valley elementary.

-- Hinsdale and Winchester schools.

-- Austine School.

-- West Bee Nursery, Brattleboro Center for Children, Owl Tree Nursery, Saint Michaels, Neighborhood Schoolhouse, Timson Hill Preschool, Family Garden Child Care Center,

-- Windham Regional Career Center

-- Brattleboro School of Dance

-- Meetings Waters YMCA Child Care Transportation bus will not run, however its snow day program will run for registered families

-- Vernon Library is closed

-- Townshend Library is closed

-- KidsPLAYce is closed

-- The Gathering Place is closed

-- Vermont Tech's Brattleboro campsus is closing at noon

-- New England Center for Circus Arts is closing at noon

-- Keene State College is closing at noon

-- Amtrak Vermonter between Springfield, Mass., and St. Albans is cancelled

-- Bob Marley event at Latchis is cancelled. The show has been rescheduled for Oct. 20.

-- Grace Cottage dinner at Newbrook Fire Station is cancelled

-- VFW Post 1034 dinner dance is cancelled

The following BUHS sporting events have been cancelled, as reported by WTSA:

-- Friday's JV-B home basketball games versus Twin Valley are cancelled.

-- Friday's JV and Varsity girls basketball

-- Saturday's JV and Varsity boys basketball games at Taconic, MA are postponed to February 16, same times.

-- Saturday's Middle School basketball games at Mt. Anthony are postponed until Tuesday, Feb. 12.

-- Saturday's Leland and Grey at Twin Valley boys basketball cancelled
