In the results released Thursday, Administration Secretary Jeb Spaulding said January was a good month for the state treasury.
General Fund revenues in January were $2.3 million, or 1.6 percent, above forecasts. Seven months into the current fiscal year that ends June 30, general fund revenues total $750 million, three-tenths of one percent above the target figure.
The non-dedicated transportation fund receipts in January exceeded forecasts by about three-quarters of one percent. Year-to-date the fund is about one-tenth of one percent above target.
But the non-property tax education fund receipts for January were about one-tenth of one percent below expectations. For the year, the fund is just below even.
