Another session of gymnastic classes begins the week of Nov. 11, running through Jan. 16. The cost of program depends on the number of days/weeks of participation. Amanda Montgomery directs the program.
"Parent and Tot Open Gym," a program for parents and preschoolers' ages 5 and under, will begin on Nov. 16 and continue through April 28. This is an unstructured program where the parent is responsible for their children. The gym will be available Mondays and Thursdays from 10 to 11:45 a.m. The fee is $1 per child per day.
Fitness classes are offered three days a week for eight weeks beginning Nov. 15 and running from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. Classes include Yoga on Mondays and Wednesday and Yoga/Pilates on Fridays.
Kickbox conditioning/Tabata classes will be offered two days a week, Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. and/or Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sign up for one class or both. These classes are for anyone over 18 years of age and run on a monthly basis.
Susan Hebson will once again offer Tai Chi classes on Mondays, starting Nov. 16 and running through Dec. 21. The classes, from 10 to 11 a.m., cost $70 for non-residents and $55 for residents. Individual classes can be taken for $10 each. Participants must register at the Gibson-Aiken Center office on the first floor.
