BRATTLEBORO >> Brown Bag Lunch Presentations featuring women in business roundtable, music from Hannah Hoffman, and many more. All Brown Bag Lunch Presentations take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., and are free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Master Gardener Cheryl Wilfong, author of The Meditative Gardener, will bring bulbs, vases, and pots, to start forcing bulbs. Narcissus and amaryllis for the holidays, and hyacinths and tulips for February and March when we could really use a whiff of spring.

On Wednesday, Nov. 18, Karen Woodcock heads a gathering for women to discuss issues and opportunities and to network with other women who are currently in business or are thinking of starting one.

On Thursday, Nov. 19, Bring in an object that is broken or in need of modification. Organizer Aaron Evan-Browning provides advice and will help you to repair your stuff. Don't have something broken? Show up and help. Some tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

On Friday, Nov. 20, enjoy music from singer and songwriter Hannah Hoffman, who recently released her first album, Blur, consisting of songs written over the course of the past 6 years. Hoffman draws inspiration from folksy songstresses like Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell, and Regina Spektor, but explores an edgy soulfulness in her vocals.
