BRATTLEBORO — Domino's Pizza on Canal Street was robbed Friday and an arrest has been made.
At 7:10 p.m. that night, the Brattleboro Police Department went to the business where they learned the suspect had displayed a knife and demanded money. No one was injured.
"The employee gave the robber an undetermined amount of money and the robber fled traveling north on Canal Street," police said in a press release. "Evidence (from a residence on Canal Street) related to the crime was seized and is currently being processed for its evidential value."
Michael J. Lenois Jr., 26, of Brattleboro, was identified as a suspect in the process. Search warrants were granted with assistance from the Vermont State Police and the Hinsdale, N.H., Police Department. Investigating the incident is Brattleboro Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division.
Lenois was arrested for larceny from a person. He is currently being held at the Brattleboro Police Department on a $50,000 bail while he awaits arraignment in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division.
