Editor of the Reformer:

Windham Child Care Association would like to acknowledge the young men and women of New England Youth Theatre’s Mentorship Program for their generous support of our bookmobile program, the Early Learning Express. The mentors’ donation will pay for the ELE to visit the Brave Young Vaudevillian’s day camp once a week throughout the entire eight weeks it is being offered this summer. Our Early Childhood Outreach Specialist, Emily Walsh, will bring the bookmobile’s library of over 500 books to the young campers (ages 7 to 9) who will be gathered to enjoy NEYT’s great line up of classes, activities, and opportunities for individual mentorship with their talented staff.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to work with the New England Youth Theatre to support such a wonderful summer time, full day experience for school age children. Often, full-time childcare is not as available for this age range as it is for pre-school children. This can create a challenge for working parents who need care. NEYT is making great strides toward serving this need and as this a common outcome with Windham Child Care Association, we are particularly excited about this new partnership.

Executive Director,
