Fraternal Order of Eagles
BRATTLEBORO -- The Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 2445 will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 3 and 17, at 7 p.m. at the club home, 54 Chickering Drive, Brattleboro. All members are welcome.
Evening Star Grange
DUMMERSTON -- The Evening Star Grange in Dummerston Center will meet Monday, Oct. 1, beginning at 7 p.m. State Chaplain Lester Gibbs and his installation team will be present to install newly-elected officers for the Grange.
Eagles Club
BRATTLEBORO -- The Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, 54 Chickering Drive, in Brattleboro is hosting a dance and raffle to benefit MJ Coyne on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 1 to 5 p.m. Coyne has been unemployed since he almost drowned on the West River in August.
Little Eddy and the Giants will be playing from 2 to 4 p.m., with light food, beverages, (adult beverages available), and family fun. There will be a raffle with many prizes donated by area businesses.

Newfane Garden Club
NEWFANE -- The Newfane Garden Club will hold its October meeting at the Moore Free Library on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. The program will be presented by Tim Scott, author of "Invasive Plant Medicine." He will share his thoughts concerning this topic and plants in the neighborhood.
