BELLOWS FALLS - It is a pleasure to announce that Stephanie Mueller has been named the December Elk’s Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School.
Stephanie, a senior, is the daughter of Laura and Brian Mueller of Bellows Falls. Stephanie works hard in her classes and has proven herself to be a strong academic student. She puts forth her full effort on assignments and consistently meets deadlines. Always prepared for class, she eagerly adds to class discussions, takes the lead in group work and is willing to go the extra mile to get things done. Stephanie’s writing is at an advanced level and she always goes above and beyond in her assignments and projects.
Stephanie always has a positive, upbeat attitude at school and truly enjoys learning. She always has a smile on her face, and she goes out of her way to help others. Stephanie’s curiosity and desire to learn help provide for a better overall classroom climate. A good role model, Stephanie leads by example and is a pleasure to work with. Always thinking of others, Stephanie works hard to make the school a better overall environment. Through her work ethic and attitude she has definitely contributed positively to our school throughout her four years here.
Stephanie is active in her community church, volunteering time with them in various charitable functions, and this past summer, she traveled with her church to South Africa and Mozambique to work with kids in poverty.
During her sophomore year, she took part in a workshop in Brattleboro called Undoing Racism, and came back to the school with ideas on how to raise awareness and understanding of racism in our school and community. Congratulations go to Stephanie. BFUHS is proud to have her represent us with this award.
