BRATTLEBORO -- Resurfacing three small streets in Brattleboro is scheduled for Thursday, June 21.
The streets are Winston Prouty Way, Church Place, and Arch Street. Due to the narrow width and steepness of two of these streets, they will essentially be closed during the work.
On Arch Street, the street for the day on Thursday. Cars trying to start or stop on this steep grade would destroy the new pavement until it has thoroughly cooled. Motorists can expect congestion from construction equipment at the junction of Main and Arch Streets when the work occurs.
Winston Prouty Way can expect delays in and out of the school. There is width enough to maintain one lane of traffic.
The Town has contracted with Dave Manning Inc. of Brattleboro for this project.
