BRATTLEBORO -- A Dover man is facing up to 27 years behind bars for his alleged involvement in a series of recent drug deals.

Christopher Bodisher, 30, of Dover, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to five felony charges including two counts of selling cocaine, two counts of aiding in the commission of selling cocaine and one count of accessory before the fact. Each caries a maximum sentence of up to five years in jail.

He also pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor charges of cocaine possession and was released on conditions, which included he remain in Windham County, except for work.

According to the affidavit, investigation into Bodisher’s alleged drug sales started in February 2011 after members of the Southern Vermont Drug Task Force, working with a cooperating individual, discovered Bodisher was distributing cocaine in and around Brattleboro.

Between Feb. 17, 2011, and Nov. 9, 2011, the CI provided information about nine controlled purchases involving Bodisher or one of his alleged accomplices, according to the affidavit.

Det. Dennis Coughlin wrote that the CI would contact Bodisher via text message or by phone to set up the buys. Court documents state that during one of the controlled buys, the CI contacted Bodisher and he directed the CI to another dealer, later identified as Gregory Haight, 24, of Wilmington.

CI prior to the deal, police were able to record the sale between Haight and the CI, who bought $250 worth of cocaine, according to the affidavit.

After Haight was arrested on March 16, he admitted to selling cocaine, which he received "from a few different suppliers."

In April he pleaded not guilty to two counts of selling more than 2.5 grams of cocaine and is facing up to two decades behind bars if convicted.

Bodisher’s other alleged associated, Tyran Andrews, 30, is also being charged with two counts of selling cocaine. He has not been formally arraigned on the charges yet, as there is an extraditable warrant out for his arrest. It’s unclear at this time if or when charges will be filed against Andrews.

On April 1, 2011, Bodisher was shot twice in the abdomen and once in the leg during an attempted robbery at the Chesterfield Gorge parking lot in Chesterfield, N.H.
