Bellows Falls

-- Kaya Siegel was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor on Wednesday, June 6.

She is due to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge.

-- Morgan MacConnell, 19, and Corey Tetreault, 21, were cited for trespassing on Green Mountain Railroad property on June 19.

Both were cited to appear in court on Tuesday, July 31.

Brattleboro

-- Brattleboro Police stopped a vehicle on Putney Road at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12.

Seth Monfette, 39, of Spencer, Mass., was then cited for operating with a criminally suspended license.

He was cited to appear in court on Sunday, June 17.

-- At approximately 1:11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, members of the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Cody C. Hamilton, 18, on an active arrest warrant, stemming from a charge of disorderly conduct.

He was taken to police department, where he was processed and held on $500 bail.

-- Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the Harmony Parking lot at approximately 7:14 p.m on Wednesday, June 13. The operator was identified as Erin Morse, 22, of Brattleboro. She provided marijuana during the course of an investigation. She was cited with possession of marijuana.

The passenger was identified as Corey Ostroski, 20, of Brattleboro. He was arrested on a warrant. He was processed and held for lack of $3,000 bail

Guilford

Todd L. Andrews, 44, of Brattleboro, was cited for his third DUI offense at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday, June 15.

Vermont State Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Bonnyvale Road, at the intersection of Akley Road.

At the crash scene, troopers encountered Andrews, who was not directly involved in the crash but had driven to the site after receiving a telephone call informing him that a family member was involved in a minor, single-vehicle accident.

During a conversation with Andrews, troopers smelled alcohol on his breath. Further investigation revealed that Andrews had a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent, the legal limit in Vermont.

He was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Brattleboro barracks, where he was processed and released. He was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to the felony charge.

There were only minor injuries reported in the vehicle crash.

Newfane

-- A Newfane man was cited for domestic assault on Tuesday, June 19.

Joshua R. Stratton, 26, was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Putney

-- A Middletown, Conn., man was cited for possession of hallucinogenic drugs and marijuana on Thursday, June 14.

Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle driven by Louis Rebelo, 29, at approximately 6:50 p.m. for driving in excess of the posted speed limit.

Police then received consent to search the vehicle and located approximately a quarter-pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms and a small amount of marijuana.

Rebelo was processed at the Brattleboro barracks and was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Rockingham

-- Vermont State Police are investigated a reported burglary on O’Brien Road.

At approximately 4:13 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, police responded to the residence and observed the damage. The back door had a broken window and a metal grate covering the back window was bent. Among the items reported taken were various video games, DVDs, consoles and some money.

-- A 17-year-old was cited for burglary, unlawful trespassing, petit larceny and unlawful mischief after police found him in a food concession trailer located on Westminster Street in early morning of Sunday, June 17.

The juvenile, who was taken into custody without incident, was cited to appear in Vermont District Court on Tuesday, June 26, and transported to Woodside Juvenile Facility in Winooski.

-- A Westport, Conn., woman was released from the hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday, June 19.

Deborah Colantuoni, 61, sustained minor head injuries.

Christopher Daniels, 33, of Claremont, N.H., was driving a Ford 3 axle Grapple Log Truck northbound on Interstate 91, approaching a temporary AOT work zone set up on the Williams River Bridge just north of the Exit 6 on-ramp.

Colantuoni merged the 2006 Toyota Avalon she was driving on the highway behind Benjamin Moffit, 31, of Putney, and both vehicles then moved into the left-hand lane a safe distance in front of Daniels. Colantuoni slowed down when Moffit turned into the coned-off right-hand lane of the work zone.

Daniels was unable to slow the log truck and struck Colantuoni, which caused her to strike the 2006 Chevrolet Impala Moffit was operating.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and results are pending of a commercial motor vehicle inspection of the log truck, which is being conducted by an inspector with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Saxtons River

-- At approximately 8:41 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Oak Street.

Troopers found Jake Boulerice, 29, of Westminster, to be the vehicle’s only occupant and uninjured. It was revealed that Boulerice had been driving under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest and transported to the Rockingham barracks, where he was cited and released.

Springfield

-- Elizabeth McAllister, 50, was cited for driving on a criminally suspended license. She was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Walpole, N.H.

-- Police tried to stop a vehicle on Route 12 shortly before midnight on Monday, June 18.

According to police, the vehicle did not stop and turned onto River Road in Walpole, where it crashed into a tree. Two of the vehicle’s occupants were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for minor injuries. The cause of the crash and reason for the operator’s failure to stop is still under investigation.

Winhall

-- A Jamaica woman was cited for driving with a criminally suspended license at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12.

She was cited to appear in Bennington Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge, her second.

-- Jessica Slowe, 26, was stopped by police at approximately 2:15 p.m. for driving a vehicle that had not been inspected.

She was cited to appear in Bennington Superior Court: Criminal Division on July 30 to answer to the charge.

-- An Arlington man was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, June 15.

Gavin Wilcox, 21, was stopped by police on Vermont Route 11 for traveling 78 mph in a 50 mph zone. He provided an evidentiary breath sample of .188 and was cited to appear in Bennington Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to answer to his second DUI.
