BRATTLEBORO -- Democrats in Windham County will gather Friday, Aug. 3, at 5:30 p.m. for the ribbon cutting of their new election headquarters at 80 Flat St.
Windham County State Senator Peter Galbraith will handle the ribbon cutting duties. He will be joined by State Treasurer Beth Pearce, Attorney General William Sorrell, county representatives to the Vermont House and other state and county Democratic candidates.
The headquarters is located in the former Probate Court space in the J. F. Church Building and will be open until the November elections.
Along with the festivities at the Flat Street site, a Main Street Campaign Showroom will be open to the public during Gallery Walk hours Friday at the Catherine Dianich Gallery in the Hooker-Dunham Building.
Both locations will host campaign activities on behalf of Obama for America, the Vermont Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, and all Windham County Democratic candidates.

Volunteers to work with the Coordinated
Bowman of Putney was recently appointed field organizer for the Vermont Democratic Coordinated Campaign in Windham County.
WCDC Chair Bill Johnson also announced that contributions to support the headquarters can be made by sending checks to WCDC treasurer James Valente at 92 Green St., Brattleboro.
