Brattleboro

-- Joyce Beaman, 41, of Brattleboro, was arrested on Sept. 21 after police learned she had an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire.

Beaman was held on lack of $10,000 bail and scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on Sept. 24 to answer the charge.

-- Police arrested 40-year-old Martin J. Anfinson, of Brattleboro, for driving under the influence during a motor vehicle stop along Arch Street on Sept. 21.

Anfinson was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court on Oct. 9, to answer the charge.

-- Lisa Marie Scott, 36, of Putney, was arrested on Sept. 22 for driving with a suspended license along Putney Road. Scott was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date to answer the charge.

-- On Sept. 19, Gary Wilke, 56, of Cortland Manor, N.Y., was arrested for driving under the influence after police performed a motor vehicle stop along the southbound lane of I-91.

Wilke was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on Oct. 9, to answer the charge.

-- A New Hampshire man was arrested for negligent operation and disorderly conduct on Sept. 15.

Police said 40-year-old Greg Bergeron, of West Chesterfield, was taken into custody after his vehicle was stopped along Putney Road during a motor vehicle stop.

Bergeron was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on Oct. 23, to answer the charges.

-- Jeremiah Crompton, 22, of Brattleboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct at a Shell Gas Station along Canal Street on Sept. 14.

Crompton was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division to answer the charge.

Dummerston

-- On Sept. 19, police responded to the scene of a two-car crash along Route 5. Investigation revealed that Ketan Kinkhabwala, 46, of West Dover, was traveling south when his vehicle’s left front tire came loose and fell off. When it did, the tire struck the side of a vehicle driven by Mark Anderson, 44, of Vernon, who was driving northbound.

No one was injured as a result of the crash.

Grafton

-- Police are investigating a report of a burglary along Eastman Road that occurred sometime on Sept. 19.

According to Vermont State Police Trooper Eric Vitali, a rifle, shotgun, cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the home.

Guilford

--Philip Henry Patoing, 25, of Brattleboro, was arrested for driving under the influence on Sept. 20, after police performed a motor vehicle stop along Fitch Road in Guilford.

Patoing was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on Oct. 9, to answer the charge.

-- Police responded to the scene of a two-car crash on Sept. 21, along Route 5.

Investigation revealed that 40-year-old Raelene Smith, of Guilford, allegedly failed to yield the right of way when entering the road and crashed into a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Paula Richardson, of Vernon.

According to Vermont State Police Trooper James Matthews, Richardson was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries

Jamaica

-- On Sept. 21, members of the Vermont State Police responded to the scene of a single car crash along Route 30. When troopers arrived they found 84-year-old Audrey W. Bloch, of New York City, was driving north at approximately 50 mph and talking on her cell phone when her vehicle drifted off the road and into the ditch.

Bloch suffered several scrapes and bruises as a result of the crash but refused medical attention at the scene.

Putney

-- Shane Goldsmith, 25, of Putney, was arrested for domestic assault after police learned he had allegedly assaulted someone.

Goldsmith was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date to answer the charge.

Rockingham

-- A 25-year-old Rockingham man told police he fell asleep at the wheel on Sept. 22 shortly before 4 a.m., along I-91 as his vehicle went off the highway and struck a rock ledge.

Mark Call was unharmed during the accident, but his vehicle was totaled as a result of the crash.

Westminster

-- On Sept. 20, police responded to the scene of a two vehicle crash along I-91 near exit 5.

According to Vermont State Police, on Sept. 20, Rolfe Goff, 54, of Hadley, Mass., came to a stop at the end of the off-ramp and the driver behind him, Jamileth Card, 41, of Spofford, N.H., failed to stop and crashed her vehicle into Goff’s.

Neither driver was injured but Card was issued a warning for following too close and her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
