The Reformer published weekly for several decades, beginning in the late 1800s, before the first daily edition was printed on March 3, 1913.

Since then, the newspaper industry has seen drastic changes in the past almost-100 years, from the way it was produced and printed, to how it is delivered and presented.

In tomorrow’s Weekend Reformer, you’ll see our first step at celebrating that milestone: a special section - Centennial - which looks back over the past 10 decades of the Brattleboro Reformer. It features an in-depth review of our history, personal writings from our first editor and our current one, reproductions of historic front pages, comments from former staffers and the community, and much more.
