On Oct. 21, Brattleboro Police observed an unlicensed operator in a motor vehicle in the area of Garfield Drive. An investigation was conducted and Steven F. Miller, 25, of Brattleboro, was cited for driving with a criminally suspended license.
On Oct. 22, Brattleboro Police responded to Elliot Street to investigate a report of a citizen dispute occurring there. Following an investigation, David J. Cote, 22, of Brattleboro, was cited for committing an act of disorderly conduct. Shaquran A. Holcomb, 32, of Brattleboro, was cited for committing acts of disorderly conduct and providing false information to a police officer.
On Oct. 29, Brattleboro Police responded to Putney Road to investigate a report of shoplifting. Christina M. Moses, 21, of Brattleboro, was cited for committing an act of retail theft following a brief investigation.
On Nov. 8, Brattleboro Police responded to McDonalds on Putney Road after receiving a report of a male who was unconscious in his vehicle. When police arrived, the male, later identified as Marcus Bedard, 24, of Hinsdale, N.H., was awake. McDonalds employees advised they found Bedard passed out in his vehicle in the drive-thru. After a short investigation, Bedard was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. Bedard was processed at the Brattleboro Police Department and released on a citation to court for a later date and time.
On Nov. 12, Brattleboro Police
On Nov. 8, at approximately 9:31 p.m, a member of the Vermont State Police received a complaint of annoying and harassing phone calls from a resident on Bunker Road. Investigation revealed that Janet Hubbard, 49, of Wilmington, was calling and harassing a resident on Bunker Road. Hubbard has been previously charged with a criminal offense in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division, for which conditions of release were imposed by the court on Sept. 8. She has also been charged with criminal offenses in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division, for which conditions of her release were imposed by the court on Sept. 18.
Hubbard was arrested and subsequently released on a citation to report to Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. for arraignment on charges of disturbing the peace by use of telephone and contempt of violating a condition of release. Hubbard was also issued a citation to report to Bennington Criminal Division on Dec. 24 at 8 a.m. for arraignment on the charge of contempt for violating a condition of release.
Vermont State Police are looking for information related to a theft of windows from a residence on Hunter Brook Road. The windows were stolen sometime between Nov. 5 and 10. Anyone with information about this theft or suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Trooper Matthews at 802-254-2382.
On Nov. 10, Vermont State Police received a theft complaint from John’s Car Corner. Sometime during the past week, a car battery was stolen from a vehicle and a catalytic converter was cut from another vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Paul Dean at the Rockingham Barracks at 802-875-2112.
