Athens

-- On April 28, the Vermont State Police responded to a home on Whitney Road for the report of a burglary. According to police, a .22 single-shot rifle and a lemon-wood long bow were stolen from the home sometime between 6 p.m. on April 21 and noon on April 27. Anyone who might have information is urged to contact Trooper Jake Bloom at 802-875-2112.

Bellows Falls

-- On April 25, Nyoakla Hartley, 40, of Bellows Falls, was arrested for attempting to elude a police officer and negligent operation of a vehicle. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Brattleboro

-- On April 25, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a home on South Main Street for the report of a family fight. Following an investigation, Aren Stenson, 23, of Brattleboro, was cited for disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 25, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a 911-hangup on Abbot Road. While officers found there was no emergency at the home, an investigation was initiated. As a result, Eric F. Lunde, 69, of Brattleboro, was arrested for possession of marijuana, hallucinogens and prescription medication. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 25, a juvenile at Brattleboro Union High School was arrested by the Windham County Sheriff’s Department and cited with simple assault.

-- On April 27, the Vermont State Police received a report of an erratic driver near the Exit 3 Rotary on Putney Road. A short time later, troopers located the vehicle n Western Avenue and conducted a motor vehicle stop. As a result, Jeffrey W. Hutchins, 52, of Brattleboro, was cited for DUI refusal and ordered to appear in court on May 21.

-- On April 27, Kelly Liberty, 43, of Brattleboro, was arrested for simple assault. She was cited to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 27, Ranoi J. Cromwell, 46, of Brattleboro, was arrested for driving under the influence. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 28, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a home on Marlboro Road for the report of an assault. Following an investigation, Devon Longuell, 19, of Hinsdale, N.H., was arrested for domestic assault and aggravated assault. He was cited to appear in court at a later date.

Jamaica

-- On April 27, Aysia Goddard, 26, of Jamaica, was stopped by Vermont State Police on Route 30. She was arrested and cited for driving with a suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court on June 4.

-- On April 28, the Vermont State Police responded to Monadnock Lane for the report of an underage drinking party. Troopers located a home off of West Hill Road with a number of vehicles outside, young adults running and alcohol containers visible inside and outside. Troopers surrounded the home and applied for a search warrant. While waiting, they were given consent to enter the home. As a result, Caroline Kepler, 17, of Manchester, was cited to appear in court on June 11 to answer to the charge of enabling the consumption of alcohol by a minor. In addition, a number of young adults were issued civil alcohol violations.

Marlboro

-- On April 27, the Vermont State Police responded to Route 9 on Hogback Mountain for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that Nina M. Kunimoto, 39, of Dummerston, lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a ledge, resulting in a total loss of the vehicle. She was not injured in the accident. The Marlboro Fire Department and Rescue Inc. assisted the state police.

Westminster

-- On April 26, Sheldon Mounsey, 34, of Westminster, was stopped by Vermont State Police for a speed violation. He was cited for driving with a suspended license and ordered to appear in court on June 11.

-- On April 26, the Vermont State Police responded to a home on Route 5 for a report of a disturbance. Following an investigation, James Rodgers, 49, of Westminster, was arrested and cited for domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services and disorderly conduct. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 26, the Vermont State Police responded to a home on Stagecoach Road for the report of a burglary. Troopers determined a "boom box" was stolen from the home. Anyone who might have information is urged to contact Trooper Brian Berry at 802-875-2112.

-- On April 27, the Vermont State Police responded to a home on Hartley Hill Road for the report of a loud party. Following an investigation, Randy Holmes, 45, of Westminster, was cited for enabling the consumption of alcohol by a minor and was ordered to appear in court at a later date. In addition, five juveniles were issued diversion paperwork.

-- On April 28, Jenifer L. Cook, 26, of Westminster, was cited on Route 5 for driving with a criminally suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court on May 21.
