-- On April 30, the Bellows Falls Police Department issued a citation to Aaron Lanoux-Moch, 18, of Bellows Falls for first degree aggravated domestic assault after receiving a complaint of a disturbance at 3 Granger Street. He was held on $1,000 bail at the Southern State Correctional Facility and ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court.
-- On April 26, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Freddie Ferguson, 50, of Brattleboro after he provided false information following a traffic stop on Western Avenue.
-- On April 29, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Terry Russ, Jr., 31, of Brattleboro after receiving a report of someone trespassing at a residence on Chestnut Street. Russ was arrested and cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court to answer to the charge.
-- On April 30, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Meah Emery, 24, of Brattleboro for conducting an act of simple assault after the police responded to a report of a citizen dispute on Pine Street.
-- On May 2, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Quinton Newborn, 30, of Washington D.C. after receiving a report that someone had stolen a watch from Renaissance Fine Jewelry on Main Street.
Newborn was arrested and held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
-- The Vermont State Police are looking for information on the theft of two metal bases that were taken from the back of a Green Mountain Traffic Control Truck on May 1 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Old Stowell Hill Road in Londonderry. Anyone with information is asked to call the Rockingham barracks at 875-2112.
-- On April 30, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department arrested Debra Bemis, 29, of Putney on a warrant for failure to appear in court. She was taken in to custody and later appeared before the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division.
-- On April 30, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ryan Magoon, 23, of South Londonderry on a warrant for failing to appear in court. He was taken into custody in Brattleboro and later appeared in the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division.
-- On April 30, Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 91 near mile marker 31. Police say Peter Rizzo, 55, of Williamsville, was traveling north when he lost control of his 2011 Honda Fit and struck a guard rail and bridge abutment. Police say Rizzo lost control of his vehicle after reaching for his water bottle. There were no injuries and the car received major damage.
