-- On July 29, Bellows Falls Police were called to respond to a report of an intoxicated male walking in the street on Atkinson Street. Police made contact with Christopher Lanese, of Bellows Falls. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct stemming from an incident on Elm Street. Lanese was ordered held until sober with a citation to appear at a later date. He was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility.
-- On Aug. 1, Bellows Falls made contact with a suspicious male in the area of the Cumberland Farms. Police identified the suspicious male as Robert Damon, of Bellows Falls. He was found to be in possession of cocaine and a regulated drug. Damon was arrested and cited to appear at a later date.
-- On. Aug. 8, Bellows Falls Police were dispatched to a residence on Myrtle Street for a reported assault. Police arrested a juvenile for simple assault. The juvenile was released on a citation to appear at a later date.
-- On Aug. 14, Bellows Falls Police stopped a motor vehicle on Barker Street for suspicion of DUI. During the investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, Donald Crawford, of Bellows Falls, was arrested for possession of narcotics. He was cited and released.
-- On Aug. 16, Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a fight in progress. Upon their arrival, officers interviewed subjects and witnesses involved and determined that the subjects involved were Arthur Fisk, 23, of Brattleboro, and Tylina Bessette, 23, of Brattleboro. Officers cited both Fisk and Bessette to appear at court at a later date for the offense of disorderly conduct.
-- On Aug. 19, Brattleboro Police Department arrested Ashley Farkas, 21, of Wilmington, for violating her conditions of release. Farkas was processed at the police department and then released on a citation to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Aug. 20, Brattleboro Police Department responded to Hannaford for a report of a shoplifter that was in store custody. After a brief investigation, Sherry Mahaffey, 30, of Hinsdale, N.H., was issued a citation and a trespass notice for Hannaford.
-- On Aug. 23, Brattleboro Police Department responded to Main Street for a reported "hit and run" accident. Further investigation resulted in Brandon Bernier, 29, of Putney, being charged with leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Bernier was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to these charges.
-- On Aug. 25, Brattleboro Police Department arrested Todd Koshinsky, 28, of Brattleboro, and charged him with stalking, disorderly conduct, simple assault and unlawful trespass.
-- On Aug. 24, Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Saxtons River Road, just east of Saxtons River Village. Charles Trevorrow, 49, of Westminster, was traveling east when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road. He was not injured. Trevorrow was subsequently arrested for DUI and operating after suspension. He was transported to the Rockingham State Police barracks for processing and later held at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.
