-- On Oct. 17, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Price Chopper on Canal Street to investigate a report of a woman leaving the store with a medication without paying for it. As a result, Vanessa G. Sanchez, 47, of Brattleboro, was arrested and cited for retail theft. She was ordered to appear in court on Dec. 10
-- On Oct. 22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Retreat to investigate the report of missing personal property. As a result, Laura J. McGuire, 35, of Rutland, was arrested and cited for petit larceny. She was ordered to appear in court on Dec. 10.
-- On Oct. 20, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash at mile marker 16 on Interstate 91. An investigation revealed that Andrew Delange, 69, of Georgetown, Va., was traveling southbound when he failed to maintain his lane and drove off the right shoulder of the road. While attempting to regain control of the vehicle he traveled into the left lane and struck the guardrail. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene. As a result of the crash no civil or criminal violations were issued.
-- On Oct. 13, the Vermont State Police arrested Daniel W. Currier, 44, of Springfield for violating a relief from abuse order. He was also cited for violating the conditions of his release. He was ordered to appear in court on Nov. 13.
