-- On Sept. 30, the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street. As a result, Hassan J. Cansler, 19, of the state of Georgia, was arrested for providing false information to police. He was ordered to appear in court on Nov. 5.
-- On Oct. 17, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Rose A. Billetdeaux, 30, of Brattleboro, and cited her for operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court on Dec. 10.
-- On Oct. 23 at just past midnight, the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 for defective equipment. As a result, Schamicqua Cuffey, 37, of East Orange, N.J., Rafael Olmos, 33, of The Bronx, N.Y., and Michael Gbenusola, 31, also of The Bronx, were arrested and cited for a number of charges including possession of heroin and crack cocaine and giving false information to police. During a search of the vehicle, troopers found 100 bags of heroin, weighing approximately three grams, and 16.9 grams of crack cocaine. All three were ordered to appear in court on Oct. 23.
-- The Windham County Sheriff's Department is investigating a case of vandalism to the railroad trestle over Route 123. Several derogatory words and images were spray painted onto the walls and in the roadway. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Deputy Ian Tuttle at 802-365-4942.
