Brattleboro

-- On Dec. 2, the Windham County Sheriff's Department arrested Betty Ann Bashaw, 47, of Westminster, for failure to appear in court for a jury draw. She was taken into custody and later was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility due to lack of bail. She will appear in court at a later date.

-- On Dec. 3, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Greta Lenhart, 32, of Brattleboro, and cited her for unlawful mischief for damaging the property of another person. She will appear in court at a later date.

-- On Dec. 4, the Brattleboro Police Department took into custody Crystal M. Magnuson, 24, of Brattleboro, who is wanted as a fugitive from justice in the state of Connecticut for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

Westminster

-- On Dec. 3, the Vermont State Police arrested Larry Daniels, 24, of Claremont, N.H., who had an outstanding warrant out of the Windham County for failure to appear in court for two counts of violating a restraining order.

Weston

-- On Dec. 1, at approximately 4:35 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Main Street for the report of a two-vehicle crash. According to a press release, Jamie L. Speed, 36, of Londonderry, was attempting to pass a vehicle being driven by Eugene H. Ciarlo, 73, of Chester, when Ciarlo attempted to make a left-hand turn. A passenger in Speed's vehicle complained of back pain, but refused transport to a hospital. Both vehicles received minor damages.
